Ms. Ravit Barniv, NetVision’s CEO since 2001, has a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy and an M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University. In the past she has served as VP Finance of NetVision and VP Finance and Logistics in the Arutzei Zahav partnership of the Orek Group.
NetVision is a communications company that engages in two types of business activity: firstly, supplying Internet connectivity with auxiliary products and services and secondly, providing international telephony services under the brand NetVision 017. This latter service was launched in 2004 and is based on sophisticated Voice over IP technology, which transmits international calls via the Internet.
NetVision provides Internet services to approx. 400,000 customers in a variety of service packages. NetVision estimates its customer base at 25% of the total market for high- speed Internet services in Israel.
As an Internet service provider, NetVision also provides advanced services such as data security for networks and applications, site storage on the server farm, anti-virus services, protection against intruders into customers’ computers, website filtering and technological solutions for businesses.

Anti-Virus NetVision uses Symantec’s anti-virus program designed for mail systems, to provide anti-virus services for electronic mailboxes. The anti-virus program is installed onto NetVision’s mail servers and it monitors and removes viruses from incoming mail. The program is continually updated in real time, eliminating the need to upgrade to new versions. The service works for each mailbox independently.
AD AWARE SE+ This service eliminates spying by using AD Aware SE plus, which quickly scans for spyware, Trojan horses, worms and more.
The Ad Watch element, included in the program, protects and blocks in real time and blocks access of additional spyware to the computer.
This service includes support and installation in Hebrew by NetVision.
Anti-Spam NetVision uses Symantec’s anti-spam program designed for mail systems, to protect electronic mailboxes.
The anti-spam program is installed on NetVision’s mail servers to monitor for and remove junk mail (spam) from incoming messages.
The anti-spam service works using blacklists that are updated 24 hours a day to prevent the delivery of spam to electronic mailboxes.

Providing content services through the Nana portal, www.nana10.co.il, which offers a wide range of content and services, including news, Internet search engines, chats and forums.
Additional content services offered by NetVision to its customers include “Red”, the first closed content site of its kind, which includes fun, leisure, and lifestyle content and features video clips. www.red.net.il.
“Red” encompasses leading closed content sites such as: Alfie’s Island – for children, Big “one” – sports magazine, “Masa Acher” (“A Different Voyage” – travel and tourism, “Parents and Children” magazine, “Cosmopolitan” for fashion and gossip, “Boxer” for men and “Niche” – a design magazine.
This site offers something for all kinds of web surfers- children, parents, men and women.
Netlife magazine [the magazine for the digital age] is also a content product from NetVision, which assembles commentary and articles about the Internet, as well as exclusive interviews. In addition to the original articles, the magazine offers free downloadable programs, technical support for surfers’ questions, and downloadable clips and music for those with broadband.
NetVision provides e-commerce services, primarily via the e-commerce site Nana Shops at www.nanashops.co.il.
NetVision also supplies planning and setup services for Internet applications, and develops custom applications via sister company NetVision Internet Applications (NIA) www.nia.co.il
Additionally, the company offers a service that specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for organizations interested in setting up call centers for their peripheral customers and in the placement of workers via outsourcing.
